Wedding Dress With ‘Seductive’ Inspiration – Vera Wang Bridal Fall 2020
Maybe for Vera Wang the world of the wedding has been colonized for years by conventional designs, so it has become traditional. Wedding dresses are only princess look time after time. So that the sacred outfit feels the need for a firm breakthrough, not only by the look but in attitude (which eventually change the overall look itself). Among these boredom comes Vera Wang’s breakthrough breaking the tradition, radical, a series of wedding clothes with ‘seductive’ ideas, for the Vera Wang Bridal fall 2020 collection. This collection also marks the 60th bridal collection from 30 years of Vera Wang’s work in the fashion industry.
I Do, Love, Forever
Vera sparked the thrill of Gothic Rock for wedding apparel. A neat traditional silhouette, changing ‘rocking’ with a crepe texture that is all broken. Subtle ingredients that change the mood because of Gothic letters stitched in black throughout the collection that read ‘I DO’, ‘LOVE’, and ‘FOREVER’, words that have feeling so sweet yet rocky. The open shoulders dresses are a tube cut, drop shoulder, and drastic asymmetry design. The length of the dress also gave birth to a conflict between the super short on the front, and the train that trailed the length behind. Dresses made from feminine lace paired with black stiletto boots. Bye-bye classic wedding gown.
